Who should Accept me? And who do I expect to be Accepted by? Why this can happen to me and not to them?

Things that are done by a big number of Muslims, especially males in the West

As-salam alaykum Dear brothers & sisters

There are many things that Muslims today are doing for the sake of satisfying other human beings instead of satisfying Allah Azzah wa Jallah (SWT).

We are going so bad, Muslims, "Are you a Muslim?" Has became my main question to a big number of my brothers Muslims. The fact that I'm using to ask this question is that, many people have Islamic names but they do not want to be known as Muslims even though they are coming from the Masjid. I was amazed to see a brother Muslim wearing his kufi (cap) and thobe (robe/dress) inside the Masjid; What does this mean? What does he real want to tell/show?

Many of us who are hiding our identities in the public just for the sake of being misjudged by our neighbors, we are the ones who are committing sins without knowing but some of us are knowing that this might a sin.

Because when you leave your kufi in the house knowingly, you ask yourself few questions: Is this a sin? Why could it just be on me?

You get a quick answer fro the shaytan saying that: Oh I saw the Immam walking by without his kufi and he always use to walk without it, then it is halal. No, it is not. Because first, you left yours because you don't want someone to see that you have it and if they see they might find out that you are Muslim. Immam is just a human like you. What if he also left his for the same purpose? You have to do what you know is halal for you and what you do  not know, please seek the knowledge from those who have it.

 

Beard

 

Let forget about the wearings, the growth of beard/moustache, a thing we have forgot about at all in our lives. "I dont want many people to be looking at me all the time" is the answer that supports many of us. But how do you see those who are looking at you if you are not looking at them? Your beard is a Sunnah, this will be asked at that day. Every kind of wink you give after shaving your beard is recorded, you will regret it whenever it will be brought to you and telling you that you had this, but you did not use it. You were forbidden to do such but you did.

"You know all these people don't like me to have these beards on my face, they may think that I'm a drug user or terrorist." Yes, the way you are fearing them is the only way you are terrorizing your own life because when that day will come you will be asked about it and you will answer Ya Allah, I was living in a very hard life or it was very hard to practice my Religious needs in the region(s) I was living! Your neighbors will be brought towards you and they will say NO Ya Allah he/she was free to practice and do everything you recommanded but he/she was lazy and accepted to be lead by the world and not by You.

One of brothers asked a sister Muslim, "Are you a Muslim?", She said "Yes." He continued "Are you sure? And where is your Hijjab, sister?" She reversed the question to the brother asking: "Are a Muslim too? And what identifies you to be a Muslim too?"

 

Salam

 

It has also gone to the salam, you may offer the salam to a brother or sister who is hiding his/her identity but you may end to a different answer. Like "As-salam alaykum" and end to "yes, how are you brother?" And if you try to ask more deeply, the answer will be "oh, yes brother, I didn't want they to think bad because they might think that we are talking bad things about them." And has been the biggest thing that is general to sisters, they don't offer salam, we may say that they do not do so to brothers because they don't seem to be Muslims but how about to other sisters? And how about someone you know?

 

All those facts are done due to the lack of knowledge we have and the modernization that we are taking badly and making it to be halal to us. The big number of these facts are found to the teenagers but the sources of these are the parents and guardians because if the child is raised in Islamic ways he/she cannot be mislead unless the shaytan is acting in between but which has been lead by Allah nothing can mislead.

Let Islam be Islam and let follow its culture as it was taught by the Prophet (PBH). 

 

May Allah guide us to the success of Jannah wa astghafir Allah, astghafir Allah, astghafir Allah. Allahumma inni anta salam wa minka salam. Tabaracta ya dhalj'alal wa l-ikrami!
